Spend at least half a day walking without purpose in the Marais district...atmospheric, historic and chock-full of great cages and eateries. West of the Bastille, east of Pompidou and North of the Seine. over 6 years ago

For one of the best chocolate shops in all of Paris, go to une dimanche a Paris (http://www.un-dimanche-a-paris.com/)

They have incorporated the old city wall into their structure and have a beautiful facility. They have home made hot chocolate and the most friendly staff. (never forget: always open a conversation with Bonjour Madame/ Monsieur .....even if you butcher the rest of your French, it matters that you tried.)

This chocolate shop is also located on the street where the guillotine was first installed and is very close to the notre dame. A very historic area. over 6 years ago
