I strongly recommend that you stay in Disneyland Paris, which is really 40 minutes from the city center. They are always running specials of sometimes up to 40% off and depending on how young your kids are, they can stay and play for free. The parks and hotels are right next to the metro station and there is a bus that will take you from the airport to the hotels and back. There are also trips to the city center by bus or you could just take the metro there. Ensure that you do some shopping at La Valle shopping Outlet, which you are guaranteed to find some good deals. If you stay in one of the Disney hotels then it is automatically 10% off. about 7 years ago

I'd actually recommend you stay right the centre. We hired an apartment via airbnb.com just near the Louvre. Transport in Paris is good so it's not hard to get anywhere - but it isn't exactly the most child-friendly city by any means! about 7 years ago

Mostly the best places are in the center of Paris, around Eifel tower and Sein river. Disneyland is very far from Paris, not a good place to stay but a most recommended place to visit. about 7 years ago

Thanks. We stayed at Magic Circle Hotel near Disneyland and it was excellent. For the second part of the holiday, we are staying in Novotel Bagnolet. Also good. Will definitely rent an apartment next time. about 7 years ago
