Friends, I'll be in Toulouse in September, without a car. What's the best way to go to Nice/Monaco?

Train / bus / plane?

Pity you can't drive, there are some beautiful places to stop off along the way.
You can fly, but France has a terrific train system, plus trains stop in the centre of town rather than an airport on the outskirts. You'll get a great view of the Med' as you travel along the Riviera coast. Marseille is a different kind of French experience, so maybe stop off for a day along the way.

We get a lot of claims for things that "go missing" from overhead luggage racks, and it can be hard to explain that it wasn't "unattended" while you snoozed!
