  There are some very nice hotels in Paris that are actually not too expensive such as Residence Renoir, Villa Eugenie and Villa Royale Montsouris. Make sure to read the reviews before you book. You can read reviews and compare prices from all major booking websites at http://hotels.yourtripto.com/ and book from the one that gives you the best price.

  GerryF - try www.agoda.com for last minute specials. You might be able to get a decent hotel for the price of a hostel (like I did!)
