I will be in Paris for two weeks. I am interested in great places to eat, but not haute cuisine or "stuffy". Any suggestions.
I will be staying for one week at a hotel in th 1st near the Tuileries, and one week in an apartment in the 7th

This is definitely not Haute Cuisine, but certainly a highlight of my fleeting visit. Restaurant Chartier, best described as a beautiful, crowded, noisy Parisien canteen. The waiters are brusque and will add up the bill in pencil on your paper tablecloth (old skool!), the food simple and traditional, the prices very reasonable, and the customers are a mix of locals on a business lunch, tourists, Uni students and families. There's often a queue to get a table, but it moves fast enough, especially if there's only two of you. Or get there early.
