Hello. I'm going with my wife to Fiji. Can you give me some tips on what activities can be made besides just a beach holiday?

    HI Timothy,
Hmm... no answers. Maybe this is beacuase nearly everyone goes to Fiji for a beach holiday?! Having said that, most hotels/resorts/hostels organise other cultural activities too - visiting local villages, cooking classes etc. almost 10 years ago

You can go trekking in Fiji on the main island which is really lovely. almost 9 years ago

There's zip lining and kayaking trips down beautiful gorges, calm or rough. For culture, the old whaling town Levuka is a dream on the small island of Ovalau - no beaches but one of the only intact Pacific whaling towns left, slow pace and a different way to wind down and enjoy the pleasures of Fiji. Stay for at least 3 days to soak it up and take walks and snorkel on the excellent reef off the coast. over 8 years ago

To be honest - we tend to spend out time around the waters edge. Though I have ventured into the hills on the mainland which is pretty spectacluar with the all the waterfalls and lush vegetation. Plus the added bonus in sharing some kava with the locals in the hills is a real experience. over 8 years ago
