    No, not even slightly. I live here as an expat and have never had any problems at all. There are hundreds of thousands of tourists visiting every year, the resorts are largely full now, and no issues at all. about 7 years ago

    The only danger to your kids is being bruised from being hugged and squeezed so much by Fijians - they adore kids! It's a great family destination. about 7 years ago

    Fiji is great place to visit with kids I would not worry about the political situation. Especially if you stay on the islands or in any of the big resorts. Thing about Fiji is that they know how important Tourism is to their economy, they will not be wanting to cut their noses off..
