    The answer to this may vary from one area to another. For example, in Italy you can simply walk into a Wind store (or other major provider) and pick up a sim card which will work in your iPad. over 6 years ago

    In Netherlands and Germany, you can buy a prepaid card for about 10-15 euros (Tmobile), in Belgium you can get a similar card from Base. Most work in only one country...but the iPad is heaven to travel with. I'd rather have my iPad than just about anything else I carry!

    One thing: I think that verizon 3g iPads from the US do not work with European sim cards. I have an AT&T iPad, which works beautifully (iPad 1 or 2...no difference if AT&T). over 6 years ago
