I'm doing a whirlwind tour of Europe - Dublin, Paris, Pamplona, Berlin, Istanbul, Athens and Rome. It's a month long - any tips?
It will be anywhere between two and seven eighteen year old boys. We will be participating in the bullrun in Pamplona.
Rome, get a guided tour of colosseum and the vatican other wise you will burn hours in line waiting...it will cost a bit but will b so worth it...catch the metro everywhere its cheap and easy to use...beware of pickpockets in every country in Europe...
Paris and dublin do the free walking tours...google them but these are amazing...the louvre has a 2 nd entrance far less crowded to gain entry and closer to the mona lisa...ask a local to show u 2nd entry its outta the way but well worth it...
Book accommodation early for pamplona as u will not get any if you dont,we end up sleeping in the park,it was a long night and ask some1 there how to get on the street to run as they clean the streets uptill the very last minute and block streets off which means you get locked out and u will miss the running...stand near the finish and run into the stadium to chase the baby bulls...its so exciting and fun...
Dublin, stay near temple bar which is near all the town attractions...do the long room and book of kells, totally worth it...will think of more for u but its all amazing!!! about 7 years ago
Walking tours or bus tours, especially hop-on hop-off tours.
Depending on how you're traveling between cities, taking a night train will take away the scenery, but will cover a lot of ground and act as a hotel instead of having to pay for train and hotel. about 7 years ago
