Hey I'm in the exact same situation, although I'm going for 8 months lol
But look up busabout. It's basically a bus that travels around Europe during summer with set destinations but fluent buses. Basically you buy a summer pass and you can hop on or off the bus at any stop for as long as you like and then get back on another bus a few days later. The buses go every two days and have travel guides on year bus to help you whilst traveling. Also it's a great way to meet other travelers in a safe situation!!!
It helped me decide where to go as it has both the main cities and a few other towns that are interesting.
I'm using busabout myself this summer :)

I don't see why should she get a friend. Traveling alone is so much fun.
During the summer you might want take part in some activities that are frequent at that time (not to travel all the time and have the chance to meet people).
Perhaps you could do some weeks in Tuscany (Firenze, Pisa, ...). Alternativelly in south France? South Spain and Greece will be really very hot at that time. Then you cool down in central Europe, you could see Prague, Krakow, then go to Berlin, for instance, etc.
W. and N. Europe (England, Denmark, Norway, The Nederlands,...) might be appealing for you because they either speak english nativelly or have a very good knowledge of it. almost 8 years agoAnswered by Spakendralo viaAsk a Nomad iPad app
