    Nab have a gold card that doesn't charge u like other banks do when overseas...at a cost of $10/mth...unless u deposit $5000 aud in per month...then it's free! I too am interested to know about those cash passport cards. over 6 years ago

    I have used the 28 degrees MasterCard successfully over there. You can load it up with cash and get cash out via most ATMs. There are no international transaction fees and the exchange rates are pretty much the same as what you look up on the web at the time over 6 years ago

    We are Canadian so can only share our experience but when we travel overseas we use cash more often than credit card as credit cards will not give you the best exchange. We have an account at our bank that lets us withdraw from any ATM without any fees on our side. Sometimes the local ATM in the country we are in will have fees, but very minimal over 6 years ago
