The great thing about Egypt, especially Giza, is that they are use to tourists from all over the world. The second they see you they will try to speak to you in different languages until they guess the correct one that you speak. So you do not need to necessarily know any basic arabic words.

*One side note is that if you are going to the Pyramids in Giza, do not purchase any souvenirs. They are largely over price. The vendors will be quite pushy, but stand your ground that you're uninterested and they will finally get the point. Also if visiting the pyramids, be sure to carry one coin (egyptian pound) for if you plan on using the restroom there. over 5 years ago

Egypt is situated in the north-east of Africa. It is a very adventurous tourist place. No need to know about any kind of Arabic language because people come from all over the world. Egyptian people guess all kinds of language, so don’t worry about the language. The Giza pyramid was built as a tomb for Fourth Dynasty. It is very safety and beautiful place. Last year I visited Egypt with the help of one of travel agency called askaladdin. They provided me a good package with an affordable price..They provided me good package with an affordable price. over 4 years ago
