Can I exchange Mexican Pesos for Cuban CUC at Cadecas in Habana airport?

about 2 years ago about Cuba

I amtravelling from Mexico City to Habana in one week. I don't know if either of my bank cards (Commonwealth & Citibank) will work at international banks in Habana city, so I plan to exchange Mexican Pesos for Cuban CUC &/or National Pesos at Cadecas.
Do they accept Mexican Pesos or should I try to buy Euros/Canadian dollars here in Mexico instead?
