    You can use it, charging depends where you are some places have 220 volt some have 110 volt outlets. The current can be very unstable though so take a line conditioner or surge protector. You will not find WiFi and cell usage is very expensive.

    Any form of Internet usage in Cuba is pretty much 99.9% impossible but yes, same charge/plug holes as america and varying voltage outlets. Leave the ipad behind and enjoy Cuba for what it is - Backwards and its awesome! over 6 years ago

    Hi there, I am a 46 year young female widow. I would like to travel to Cuba for two week this coming winter. This will be my first trip outside Canada and the USA.
    I would like to stay in a casa with a family.and experience the community with the music , arts and food. I also would like to volunteer time with children. Yes and time on the beach would be marvelous.
    any suggestions would be oh so appreciated.

    Paula how was your experience in Cuba? Did you get to work with children? What kind of work did you do? I am a teacher and was a dental assistant for 12 years. did you travel with a partner a team or alone? Are the people accepting to help ? did you feel safe? what can we take into Cuba? about 2 years ago
