Krka and Plitvice both feature magnificent waterfalls and water cascades, the nature experience is astonishing.

If possible I would visit both, but it depends on you travel itinerary and time available. If you need to choose just one I would go with Plitvice. over 7 years ago

I've been to krka, but even in the shoulder season it was packed! So the swimming wasn't as spectacular as I would have hoped - mostly people hopping in for photo-ops. Also, the falls were not nearly as big as I had hoped...That said, it was lovely strolling the wooden trails through the forest/trees (really calm/quiet and relaxed and you could find a quiet place without too many other people) and we enjoyed walking around and picnicking on the grounds later.

I do wish i had done Plitvice though, it seems more spectacular. about 4 years ago
