racism in croatia?

almost 4 years ago about Croatia

We are considering a vacation in Croatia but I have been warned that non white visitors may be subject to racial abuse. I would hate to have the holiday spoiled by being taunted or worse. Is this really a problem? Am I right to be concerned? Are there particular areas to avoid ?

No, Croatia is not a racist country I am Croatian and I also have family from Croatia and I think you would love it. There are really no areas to avoid and of course you have the right to be concerned but it's not a big issue, so I hope this helped and if you go to Croatia have a good time! almost 4 years ago

I just arrived to Split yesterday and my Uber driver from the airport brought this up on his own. He said he had 2 black girls in his car and when they asked him this he shrugged it off and said it didn't matter what color anyone is. almost 4 years ago
