My friends and I are 19 and are visiting Croatia this summer, we have free reign to go wherever we like and were wondering where the best places to visit would be for people our age. We want to see some great natural beauty and enjoy a good party scene and have a little less desire in the traditional tourist scene of museums.

Plitvice Lakes National Park is absolutely amazing. While it is touristy, it's truly a beautiful place- several lakes with cascading waterfalls between them. It is rather off the beaten path, no so real nightlife. almost 6 years ago

My recommendation is Zadar. It has lots of beaches near the town with great lounge bars and chilled out crew. Also it is very near for 1 day trips to nearby "must see" national parks - Paklenica, Plitvicka jezera, Krka and Kornati islands.
Nightlife in city is great, there are lots of supermarkets there if you will cook on your own... almost 6 years ago

John, some great tips for you there. Just a reminder not to let your brain take a holiday while you do, stay safe then you can return again and again.
