My family is traveling to Costa Rica this winter. We are looking for the best place to visit and want some advice on which national park to visit. Please send me your ideas.

depends on which airport you fly into..Liberia, or San Jose. I like Manuel Antonio, and the parks and attractions near San Jose to the South, and if you fly into Liberia to the north, Rincon is one of the largest, and beautiful Eco Parks.. If you fly into the south, do not attempt to rent a car..Costa Rica is an extraordinarily beautiful county..and the people are very gracious..but particularly in the more southern reigon, you should be more vigilant than in the north. over 3 years ago

the only one that I have not visited is Monteverde..none of my C Rican friends want to go, but it truly is a laborious trip up a mountain, almost a day, then back down, that's three days wasted..That is the one with Rainforest..in all brochures, but I do not like high altitudes, or rope bridges w 7/8 meter drops.. over 3 years ago
