Hi there I’m from Cali (Colombia) and had the chance to visit Medellin few times and I was delighted not just for the pleasant weather but also for the natural beauty and friendliness from locals.
There is a great amount of parks, libraries, museums and public spaces where cultural events take place.
My favourite places are: Plaza Botero which displays 23 of the artist Fernando Botero’s sculptures and the Museo de Antioquia where you can see other talented South American artists.
Parque Explora (Park Explora) features Latin America’s largest freshwater aquarium and outdoor park all based on technology and science.
El Castillo Museo y Jardines (The Castle and Gardens) which is a French style castle and beautiful gardens to have a break from the city noise.
If you are travelling for the first time to Colombia I also recommend to check Phil's links which will be very useful. over 3 years agoAnswered by Angela viaWorldNomads.com
