There is an information booth on the right as you come out of customs that could be of help. They speak some English and have helped me get a reasonably price shuttle. about 7 years ago

Well, if I were you, I'd check out the enquiry center in airport, then take the Metro or coach to downtown or somewhere closer. about 7 years ago

A taxi should be simple enough if you don't feel like tackling public transport. As far as I know that hotel is a fair hike from the subway so when you first arrive getting taken straight there might be the way you want to go. Have your address printed out in Chinese characters to give to the taxi driver as well as the hotel's phone number. If the taxi driver doesn't seem to know where to go you can have him call the hotel (or find another taxi driver who knows - it's not a difficult place for them to know). Make SURE you take a taxi from the rank outside the airport. Do not go with anyone who approaches you. Insist the driver use the meter. If they refuse, refuse to go with them and take another cab. almost 7 years ago
