    October is my favorite time of year to visit China. Dress in layers, as mornings can be cool, especially in Lijiang which is at 7900 feet. Last year Shanghai was still warm, 75-80 F, and Beijing lovely with temps in the 70's. about 7 years ago

    Weather should be good at that time....varies with where you go. Layering is a good idea. But do take a jacket, might get nippy and windy. Be prepared to walk a lot. Sturdy comfy shoes. about 7 years ago
