want to take transiberian railway trip fr moscow to beijing, can we do this by ourselves or book a tour?
my friend and i are planning an adventurous trip but not sure if we can just buy our tickets and stop wherever we want until we get to beijing...is october a good time to go? planning on doing the whole trip in 3 weeks including 2 days each n moscow and beijing for sightseeing...what do you think? how much did u spend if u already did this trip?
Possible, there are several other stopover options to choose from along the Trans-Siberian railway and rail is how I would do this. The most popular of these is the city of Ekaterinburg in the rolling Ural Mountains a day’s train ride out of Moscow. Full of history, this is where the Romanov’s met their end and Boris Yeltsin rose from. Kazan, the prosperous capital of Tatarstan offers up a fascinating mix of culture and Krasnoyarsk has superb Siberian scenery just outside of this pleasant city. Ulan Ude is the capital of Buryatia, a land where Russia meets the indigenous cultures of the Far East making for a fascinating blend. - See more at: http://www.thetranssiberiantravelcompany.com/#sthash.AViCqXi6.dpuf about 4 years ago
