Can anyone recommend a good youth hostel in Santiago? Looking for something to meet other travellers and explore - but must be clean!

I stayed at Che Lagarto. It's cheap, clean and downtown - which is great because You can walk around and see all the important sites. over 9 years ago

Check hostal providencia. Is a very good place to stay, is like REALLY in the middle of the city and the subway. The accommodations are good and the prices are really fair. I think their web page is www.hostalprovidencia.cl about 9 years ago

I know this is an old question, but this might help others wondering the same. I can recommend two great hostels:
Dominica Hostel http://www.destinalo.com/proveedor/109 nice and modern, is located in Bellavista, a really cool and bohemian neigborhood in Santiago.
Also in Bellavista, there's Bellavista B&B http://www.destinalo.com/proveedor/111 which is very artsy, and near many fun things to do. almost 8 years agoAnswered by Catalina Huidobro viaWorldNomads.com
