I have one night and a day in Santiago (thanks to a flight schedule change by my airline) so am looking for recommendations on things to see and do in and around the city centre. I'm interested in museums, churches, or anything cultural/historical related.

In the downtown of Santiago, you could visit Precolombino Museum, Bellas Artes museum, Neruda's house, Centro Cultural Palacio La Moneda, San Francisco church.
    I hope you like Chile.

Good view from cerro san cristobal. Take the funicular from bellavista (neighborhood)(at the end of Pio Nono street) and go all the way to the top of Cerro SAn Cristobal. I would also recommend a walk through PArque Forestal from PLaza ITalia to the west. over 6 years ago
