The niagra wine region is nice it's on the way to niagra falls from Toronto. (niagra on the lake ) the other area that is very pretty is east of Toronto in an area call prince Edward county it's about a 1 and 1/2 hour from the city up the 401 highway. However time any trips accordingly as traffic is worst during rush hours and weekends so leave early early or return late . There are also great wineries in prince Edward county but they are much smaller and more intimate than niagra. If going to prince Edward county be sure and check out sandbanks provincial park it's very pretty. Muskoka is another great region to visit north Toronto up the 400 highway.
