    It would depend where you're coming from and what type of city you want to visit. Canada is huge, and therefore the cities are quite diverse. The East coast cities (Halifax, NS, Charlottetown, PEI, or St. John's, NFLD) are friendly and fun, and generally less busy. Quebec City has a sort of European feel. Toronto is busy, but lots of sights to see. Vancouver is beautiful and pretty laid back for a big city. All of the above are amazing places to visit!     Here are a few choices. If you want city life and prefer things in English , Toronto has lots to do from museums to night life. Montreal is also a great city, very cosmopolitan. They do speak English as long as you are in the city proper but knowledge of French would make things easier for you. If you prefer small towns and a slower pace and out of the way sights, try Nova Scotia/Halifax/Prince Edward Island. over 8 years ago
