I am planning a trip to Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. Where is the best place to eat and stay? Any suggestions for "must sees"?

Lunenburg has great places to eat. Check out the Knot Pub, Salt Shaker Deli, Trattoria Della Nonna and Fleur de Sel. The town does not offer any chain motels/hotels. There are about 30 B&B/Inns and several independent motels. You can read some reviews on TripAdvisor, but some suggestions would be the Arbor View Inn, Mariner King Inn, Amber House B&B and the Addington Arms. Everything is pretty much walking distance.
You should plan to see the Bluenose II reconstruction which is an incredible project even to the non-woodworker. The Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic is a great facility and you can also plan water activities here as well like sailing and whale watching. The Ovens sea caves are about 15 minutes from town. over 9 years agoAnswered by Peter viaTravellr.com

I enjoy the old fish factory restaurant which is attached to the fisheries museum down by the waterfront.
You are very close to Mahone Bay as well which is a small town, but has some great shops and a couple of good coffee shops. It also has a great bakey/deli called Joanne's.
