I was just there yesterday. It all depends what you like. For me, it is way too commercial. The view is amazing from both sides, I spent most of my time on the Canadian side. I highly recommend the Maiden of the Mist and walking down by the falls. The mist is amazing. over 9 years ago

I agree. Although the Maid of the Mist appears to be rocking and rolling, it is the water that is rolling, not the boat. Maid of the Mist is WONDERFUL! over 9 years ago

Hope you haven't visited us yet... Niagara Falls on the Canadian side is beautiful and yes commercial there is the falls themselves and you can get a day pass to ride the bus up and down the river to all of our attractions. To stay at any of the hotels facing the falls can be pricey but they always have deals so don't hesitate to go in and ask if you didn't book ahead. Niagara-on-the-Lake just 20mins out of town is beautiful, and if your driving we have some of the best wineries in the country. Always remember in a tourist area pay tourist prices.. Drive five minutes away and local prices!! It's just the way it is anywhere!! To eat in Niagara Falls Johnny Rocko's, Mick and Angelo's, The Flying Saucer (for breakfast)! ENJOY!! over 9 years ago
