im not sure where to look or what i will need to secure a house

    craigslist.org has a lot of listing, but exercise a bit of caution (only rent from people you feel are trust worthy, deals that are too good to be true can be scams). Also airbnb.com or vacationrentals.com if you are looking for something already furnished. almost 10 years ago

    There are many different apps too for finding an place such as PadMapper and rent compass.
    Mostly it requires slot of searching.
    And most application consist of references from previous landlords (usually two), confirmation of employment, some even may require resume or other personal references.
    The standard I have would for the deposit is also about half months rent, rather than first and last months rent.
    It is very difficult to find a place that takes pets, best luck is to search basement suites or shared accommodation.
