About to book a flight and the best prices include a change or stop off for a couple (or more) hours. Do we have to collect our luggage or do the airline move our luggage for us?

Ask the airline when 1st check in takes place...if you are changing airlines you will need to collect and some times if you moving from int to domestic you may need to but they will tell u if u need to...simple enough for your checked bags to go straight though... about 5 years ago

Thanks, so helpful when planning a destination. Have changed planes before but it's so long ago, I've forgotten...and we had 2 small children then too! about 5 years ago

Rouge (an Air Canada offshoot) will move your luggage for you with the exception of going though customs. But you won't have to move it yourself very far, so not to worry. Very occasionally when changing airlines and terminals in Toronto you need to move your luggage a short distance (maybe 100 meters). about 5 years ago
