Richmond has a huge Chinese population, so the food is amazing. Otherwise, you are only 20-25 min from downtown Vancouver and there is good transit avail. over 6 years ago

The transportation is amazing n Vancouver a taxi is not needed! The sky train goes from Richmond to downtown and it is not that expensive. Also busses run up and down almost every street. Google map your exact location and you can get the directions and times to the nearest bus or sky train line. I would suggest going downtown. If you are a nature person Stanley park is very pretty and has plenty of trails to explore. While the are plenty of shops and restaurants to explore. You can find pubs clubs pretty much anything you want to see. Amazing city to explore. over 5 years ago

I live in south west Richmond, a village area called Steveston. charming area once a Japanese fishing village. Lots of great cafes, restaurants, river views and an historic Cannery and museum. A boardwalk area. We love it here. Tourists do come here for a day out. over 5 years ago
