    One day is nothing!

You'd spend nearly a whole day just looking at the three major Angkor temples - Angkor Thom (jungle temple), Bayon and Angkor Wat later in the afternoon for sunset. Maybe squeeze lunch in back at the main town, with a quick check out of the Old Market (it's only 20mins out to the temples) and do the Night Markets after dark. over 8 years ago

I'd recommend waking up early and take the drive to Banteay Srei temple (better known as "The Citadel of Women"), then return back for Angkor Watt and Angkor Thom/Bayon. "Thom" means "big" in Khmer. Whatever time left over, you can go shopping and dining.

No temple decoration beats Banteay Srei...plus the walls are red so the color of this small temple is amazing. Have fun and enjoy. I was there in February. Any questions, email me: Aspen.Knight@gmail.com
