I'd highly recommend the services of Mekong Limousine Bus company. The journey time from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap is 6 hours, which includes a 20 minute stop off at Kompong Tom Province. They offer a free snack, along with bottled water.
The bus also has a toilet at the rear. I've travelled this route over 20 times, and their service is excellent.
    Ticket prices are $11 USD

I travelled in a taxi for 5 hours with two colleagues and it was the most frightening drive I have ever been on. Don't recommend a taxi at all. over 6 years ago

We also used the Mekong express for this journey and found it a painless and fairly easy trip. over 3 years ago
