Any good recommendations on boutique hotels in Phnom Penh? Looking for something chilled with a little style, not a chain hotel.

I had a very pleasant time here: http://www.thequayhotel.com/ - it's right on the waterfront and has a decent restaurant. almost 10 years ago

You might consider the Boddhi Tree properties. There are three in Phnom Pehn, all restored houses that are very tastefully decorated and certainly very "chill." You will need reservations. http://www.boddhitree.com/ almost 10 years ago

We stayed at the Pavilion and we had a wonderful experience. The rooms were very nice, the staff very friendly and the area around the pool couldn't have been better. over 9 years ago

There are several great little boutique hotels in Phnom Penh, including Le Pavilion (as mentioned above), Villa Langka, Mystéres & Mekong, Blue Lime, The Quay, Lebiz, Amber Villa. the 252, River 108. Kabiki... and more. The choice really depends on what sort of thing you like. I live here in Phnom Penh and can book for you if you like. over 9 years ago

Cheers Guys, ended up having a bit of a nightmare trying to find a place, all booked out, but managed to squeeze into http://www.thevillaparadiso.com. Superb boutique hotel, excellent staff. Can't recommend it highly enough if you're looking in the USD$80/90 range. I also heard that Blue Lime is a top place from local travellers and a bit on the cheaper side than what I paid (but was booked out !).

Thanks again for your feedback. over 9 years ago
