I'd love to share your experience, but sadly have commitments.

Angkor Wat and surrounds is a nice place to cycle around, not too sure about navigating the hustle and bustle of Siem Reap on a bike! over 4 years ago

It sounds a great idea. But make sure it's not in the height of summer. Cambodia is a wonderful place.
I stayed in the lovely boutique hotel Hotel de la Paix a few years ago. The manager from then has since left, so I don't know what it's like now. over 4 years ago

Get a map. The place is huge. Bring along a ridiculous amount of water. It's crazy hot right now. I was there in June. Ummm, it's just your preference about the bike. Not as many tourists as I expected but also since its the hot season it's not too bad. Bikes are great if you wanna roam for the day, and there's definitely enough to see. Make sure if your not wearing clothes that cover your knees and shoulders to do so. Not all temples make you cover up, but the coolest ones do. over 4 years ago
