    Well if you are visiting only Recife i have to tell you the trip is not worth it.The old town of Recife, Olinda is beautiful, but too touristically oriented. Prepare yurself for mountain hiking, cause going aup and down there can brake ur legs ;)
    But if you plan to move around the Pernambuco state you will fin very interesting fishing villages, such as Porto Galinhas, great for surfing and snorkeling.

    Carneiros is a wonderfull place (beach) 100km from Recife and about 30 km from Porto de Galinhas. A must see'n place. about 6 years ago

    Intituto ricardo brenand and espaço francisco brennad, fantastics, you have to go also to Olinda and lunch or dinner at ofcina do sabor! You can go by boat (catamarã) on the river. At the center old barroc churches. about 6 years ago

    In Olinda has the ENGARRAFADOS Bar, at the Praça do Jacaré, with good music (jazz and blues) and a beautiful view of the atlantic ocean, at night or for lunch. about 6 years ago
