I've got a 2hr 15 min gap between an international arrival and a domestic departure. Will that be sufficient to get through customs and travel from Terminal 1 to Terminal 4?

I think it is enough time. To go from T1 to T4, you must take the free shuttle outside the disembark area. There are signs, but you can also ask at the help desk to know exactly where the bus stop is. The free shuttles leave every 10 minutes and it takes about 6 or 7 minutes to arrive in T4. The tricky part is before all this... Customs and immigration in Guarulhos can be a pain in the ass... Long lines, slow officers. Take a deep breath and be patient. over 7 years ago

I forgot to warn you that, unlike in other countries, where you do customs in the final destination, in Brazil usually the procedure is done as soon as you enter the country, no matter how many connections you will have after. So, be prepared to pick up your baggage in the belt as you arrive in Guarulhos Airport, go to customs and then carry everything with you and check them again for your domestic flight. over 7 years ago
