Hi folks, planning a trip to Sarajevo, Mostar and nearby Balkan places in 2nd week of December. Any suggestions please?
I will be travelling with my two adult children. Interested in the way locals live. Using surface transport when possible. Would like to spend about 10-11 nights in the region. Would like to stay in a triple room in family run hotels or B&Bs. Would like to see places of cultural , historic significance.
Bosnia is very nice country. My suggestion is that you stay 2-3 days in Sarajevo. What you should see is Tunel of Hope, Old town - Bascarsij and in this period of year - Olympic mountains - Bjelasnica and Jahorina. It nice ofr skiing for you and your children.
One day is enough for Mostar and Buna, famous place, and one or two days for Travnik and Jajce, and visit to Vlasic, one of the famoust skii places in Bosnia.
During this trips you can see and eat in some local and ethno villages, and you can see classic and beautiful bosnian village in real.
I'm telling you this because I work for one bosnian travel agency, so if you are interesting, send me you request to my email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Anyway, if you have more questions, I will answer to you. I hope so that you will spend nice time in Bosnia
