Renting a car gives you a lot of freedom to go exactly where you want, but beware, road and driving conditions in Bosnia can be challenging. take care.

Hello! I live in Bosnia and this is funny what I read about mines and roads and SO NOT TRUE! Yes, in my country was a war but that was 18 years ago (1992-1995) There are a mines which are left behind, but that's only on the special mountains, canyons and that places where nobody goes or there goes only people because they want to with special guides.

In the Sarajevo, Mostar, Banja Luka or any other bigger town you can rent a car or some other vehicle. The best is this way Sarajevo-Mostar-Dubrovnik. For more (real) information about Bosnia please visit city.com; bosniatravels.com; dicoverbosnia.com

In this road, you should visit waterfalls Kravice or Hutovo blato, national park of nature for birds and many other species.. :) over 7 years ago

Hi... I live and work in Sarajevo, Capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and I also work in rent-a car agency. I have a lot of great cars, all classes and types. We have a lot of customers who also wants to rent a car and have an usual trip from Sarajevo to Mostar, and it ends in Dubrovnik. The road is almost perfect. Anywhere you stop, you can find a great restaurant to have a break. Before reaching Mostar, you have to pass trough big canyon of Neretva river. That landscape is amazing and most of people goes to see that.

BTW, folks....THERE ARE NO MINES, BELIVE ME!!! Only high in mountains, where nobody goes, you are safe!!!
