Grand Mosque is the major monument to see. Tours are available. City Centre Mall and Seef Mall for shopping. "Tree of Life" is a good one to check off your list as well. Probably a good idea to get a nice overview of the Dilmun Ancient Civilization, and Bahrain History at the National Museum. Check out the Bahrain Fort as well. about 9 years ago

Bahrain is a small place which can be covered in half day. However be careful where you go these days due to the political situation - preferably keep away from the interior villages if you are driving. Some places you may be interested in visiting are Tree of life, Aa Ali burial mounds, Grand mosque, Bab al Bahrain and the souq. There are 3 - 4 old forts as well. Have fun! almost 9 years ago
