My wife and I have 3 nights in Austria to go skiing. She's a first timer and I've been snowboarding for years. Any suggestions?

Most places in the Tirol region are best for the both Beginners and Intermediates, there are a lot of places to stay, St Anton is great, but for beginners not so great. I think Kitzbhuel would be a better mountain to start on. Does that help? about 11 years ago

If you head south into South Tyrol/S├╝dtirol (Italy) you can find cheaper accomodation and still close to big ski fields.

You can find places near Bressanone/Brixen and Brunico for good prices.
