Ink Bar & Restaurant is the place to go!!!

Located on the city fringe, Ink enjoys a prominent location on the corner of Rae Street and Alexander Parade, in a transformed, historic hotel. It’s hard to miss!

To complement the new menu, the interior style reflects a classic yet modern style that creates a rich and inviting ambience, and includes a stylish bar for diners to enjoy pre-dinner drinks, or spend a relaxed afternoon with friends.

Ink provides a range of dining experiences, from seafood platters to share, a la carte options, or for the adventurous or just plain indecisive, there is our degustation menu where you can sample our extended range of culinary delights. You’ll also find helpful service staff to guide your selection (if needed), and an impressive and varied wine list to match the quality of our food.

If you enjoy Japanese food I recommend Kuni's (http://maps.google.com.au/maps?oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&q=kunis+restaurant+melbourne&fb=1&gl=au&hq=kunis+restaurant&hnear=melbourne&view=text&latlng=12065906805381729252).

Great little restaurant, reasonably priced and excellent food. It's in the upper end of China town (56 Little Bourke Street). almost 9 years ago

Horoki (Japanese/Italian fusion tapas - sounds weird, but is awesome - won the best dish in Cheap Eats a year or two ago).

    Hutong Dumpling House (book ahead)

Movida Next Door (Spanish/tapas - hard to get in to, but great) almost 9 years ago
