MUSt must must do. we then drove back down the coast Did a cruise from port arthur, we saw dolphins, a walrus and heaps of other wildlife. Drive up the east coast, lots of vineyards, waterfalls and beaches. Freycinet is absolutely amazing.

Drive through to Launceston, lots of lookouts and walks along the way. The drive up Mt Barrow is good for the views!

Around Launceston Cataract Gorge is great and there's lots of old houses/estates you can visit. Go to the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery. Drive up to Georgetown (I think) and see the seahorses in the seahorse farm and then go do a penguin tour that night.

From Launceston go via Mole Creek out to Cradle Mountain, lots of places to stop and see the scenery along the way. At Cradle, if it's open (it's seasonal) you HAVE to do the Cradle Mountain Canyons tour. It's awesome. Walk around the lake, climb the mountain.

From there, head down the west coast. Abt Railway, Gordon River Cruise, Bonnet Island Cruise, Pieman River Cruise.

    Back to Hobart.
