It all depends when you plan on coming to Sydney.
In summer, my favourite things are to head to a harbour side beach with friends and have a picnic (Neilson Park in Vaucluse), or even go to the Blue Mountains for a bushwalk.
Winter is still quite nice, a drive to Palm Beach for a special lunch.
Any time of year: Taronga Zoo is a great place to visit, and a fun activity would be to climb the harbour bridge. over 6 years agoAnswered by Lisa via WorldNomads.com
Tour of the Opera House and take in a concert.
Meal & wander around the in the Rocks area and then down to the Opera House.
Visit the Chinese Gardens.
But a day ticket on the ferries & hop on & off. Go to Manly, Doyles seafood at the mouth of the harbour looking up at the city through The Gap, travel upriver past the Old Olympian Stadium stop.
