the train is the best way. From central it takes about 10 mins of travel time. Its like 16 dollars for an adult.... they don't take student cards from other states...
you can catch a taxi as well but they cost over 30 dollars.... over 11 years agoAnswered by sophie edwards viaTravellr.com

Taxis are EXPENSIVE - especially once you add in special "airport pickup fees", toll roads, etc. There are shuttle buses you can catch for $12.00 (I think) that drop off in most popular tourist areas including the backpacker hostels in Kings Cross. over 11 years ago

I agree with Sophie. From the airport, it is really easy to get on a train to Central from within the airport complex itself. Central station is right in the heart of the city, as the name suggests. over 11 years ago

I concur - Train is the cheapest & quickest. 13 min journey that stops at most city stops. Cab is the most expensive, strictly only for those on company expenses.

If you are travelling to Bondi Junction/eastern suburbs, you can get a 400 bus from both the international & domestic terminals. This is a normal bus i.e. normal every day prices rather than rip off airport prices.
