    Yes, absolutely you need a mosquito net, as there can be mosquito problems any time of year. Predominantly in Autumn, but you're never 100% safe.
    Remember that the weather can be very unpredictable.
    It will be fairly hot in the day with daily averages in the high 20s to low 30s (degrees Celsius) and overnight around 10C.
    It will mostly be sunny, with very little rain or cloud cover, so sunscreen, hat and loose cool cotton clothing that covers your skin is important, as the UV index in Australia is very high at the best of times. about 9 years ago

    I visited during early October and it was very hot. But yeah, bring anti-insect/ mossier stuff whenever you go to NT cause u never know. Deet works wonders in this part of the world about 9 years ago

    Depending a little on where you are sleeping, one of those electric plug-in mossie zappers is equally as good. I have lived here for more than a decade and never used a mosquito net indoors, though generally do outdoors. about 9 years ago
