I will be on gold coast next june for six days can anyone suggest tips to make the most out of these days?
Exploring gold coast and nearby places
June will be cold so the beach is probably out so if your into theme parks check them out. Check out Infinity in Surfers Paradise, it is pretty cool. There is also an outdoor amusement park in Surfers Paradise which is worth a look.
If you have a car then you can explore the different parts of the Gold Coast like Mt Tamborine or the rainforest area inland of Currumbin, there is an awesome walking track and waterfall plus some old ruins of yesteryear. The nightlife in Surfers area is pretty good but can be a bit full on depending on what you like.

For shopping, Robina Town Centre is the biggest and has the best range, although I don't personally think shopping is that cheap here. Harbour Town Shopping Centre is cheaper as this is the outlet destination of the Gold Coast.
For food, a restaurant called Mike's Kitchen in Merrimac is great, and there are a lot of nice restaurants in a suburb called Broadbeach, although later at night this can get really busy with partygoers especially on the weekends, so if you're more after a quiet scene this won't do, stick to the outer suburbs. If you like mexican food a place called Panchos on the way out to Springbrook is really good, and you can tie it in with a trip up to Springbrook (eat on the way back). June will probably prove a nice rainforest walk up there with a great waterfall and some good sights, will be reasonably cold though. There is also a great place up Mt. Tamborine called Thunderbird Park, they have rainforest walks up there too and a high ropes course if you are into that. Also quite a nice shopping strip up there in the center of town.
Other than that, the theme parks are pretty good, Wet N Wild heat their water so isn't too bad, and the others don't involve too much water so are great too. The Australian Outback Spectacular gives a pretty fun experience on the Australian culture, I would recommend if you want to experience outback Australian culture.
Nightlife is better in Broadbeach than Surfers Paradise, and the Casino is also in Broadbeach if you want to check that out.
