Hospitiality. Plenty of casual jobs for waiters, kitchen hands, etc. Visit the cafes in Northbridge, Leederville, Subiaco just to start.

Cleaning, although I am not sure that that pays well, although it costs a lot to hire a cleaner through an agency.

Care work in Nursing Homes, hospitals or with aid agencies.

Don't believe what people saying about mining. To get onto a mine site generally you need to be highly skilled or experienced. Yes, there are truck drivers, cleaners and cooks but the vacancies are mainly in the engineering, geophysically and trade areas. over 9 years ago

You're best bet is to join a temp agency and have them find you a job. You won't get onto a mine site or 'up north' job unless you are highly skilled or know someone employing workers. If you want to try your luck, again visit a temp / recuitment agency. over 9 years ago
