The policies talk about Australian resident. If Australia is where I live but I haven't been granted permanent residency yet can I put Australia as my country of residence?

Mary, it might be best if you post your question separately on Ask A Nomad, you'll get more responses. However why don't you take out Australian citizenship, then you can have 2 passports, one UK and one Aussie. You leave and enter Australia on the Aussie one, and enter and leave UK on the British one. Contact your local council about their next citizenship ceremony. almost 7 years ago
