I am looking for Hunter Valley accommodation, want something a little special around 3-4 star range. Something with maybe heritage status or a really unique experience. Like privacy.

Try Tower Lodge (very up market) and be sure to visit Roberts restaurant that's where you'll get your heritage fix. If that's too rich, try Ironbark Country cottages: comfortable self-contained good for large families/groups. over 9 years ago

I would highly recommend Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley...http://www.crowneplazahuntervalley.com.au/ located in the heart of the oldest wine region in Australia, surrounded by vineyards and a golf course plus luxury accommodation. almost 8 years ago
